Learning about vaccination

Basic human rights set the foundation for all our behavior, and it is very important for children to learn about them and actively defend them for the common good and against stereotypes.

Vaccines are considered one of the greatest achievements of medical science and a fundamental pillar of the Public Health system. Nevertheless, vaccines have always been a field of contestation and skepticism, leading to a decrease in public trust.

Recently, anti-vaccination movements have unfortunately led to the re-emergence of certain diseases of the past.

In order to maintain the full potential of national vaccination programs, healthcare professionals must be willing to inform, raise awareness, and discuss with the community, as well as develop information channels for the youth.

The main section of this intervention is aimed at pre-teens in the 5th grade of primary school and provides youth-friendly information regarding vaccination.
