Scientific Excellence: “George Maragkos” Award

The Greek Society for Adolescent Medicine (G.S.A.M.) has established a prestigious scientific distinction. The annual “George Maragkos” Award, accompanied by a financial prize, was launched in 2010 and is awarded to the outstanding paper submitted during our official academic proceedings.

Award Presentation & Evaluation Process

The prize is presented annually within the framework of the Intensive Adolescent Medicine Seminars – “State of The Art” Adolescent Medicine Courses. The selection of the winning study follows a rigorous peer-review process, as the distinction is given to the paper evaluated as the best by the Scientific Committee of the Seminars.
